Don’t Use My Name To Extort Money-Pastor E.A Adeboye

Enoch Adeboye, pastor and general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has warned Nigerians to be wary of those using his name to carry out fraudulent acts.

The man of God, who said this in a recent video, urged those who follow him on social media to ignore anyone requesting for money in his name.

“This is Enoch Adejare Adeboye and I just want to tell all of you, my children, my friends and well wishers that I only have one Facebook account.

“If anybody ever tells you that I am asking you to give an offering or make a contribution toward one thing or the other, please check with me; don’t let anybody defraud you”, he said.

“Don’t let anybody take your money and use it to satisfy the works of the devil, please just make an effort, contact us at the headquarters”, Adeboye added.

Adeboye and other clerics, as well as public personalities, are often by targeted by imposters who create parody accounts on social media.

In the same manner as Adeboye, several public figures have in the past, come out to warn unsuspecting people to be wary of fake accounts using their names for nefarious activities.
